Brendan Kemp

Brendan Kemp is the Vice President of Finance of Northstar Financial Services Ltd. and its operating subsidiaries. In this role, Mr. Kemp is responsible for overseeing the day to day financial management of the Company, including preparation of financial statements, management accounting, valuation, variance analysis, evaluation of potential acquisition candidates, and capital and reinsurance transactions.

Prior to joining Northstar, Mr. Kemp served at PricewaterhouseCoopers, Hamilton, Bermuda, where he provided audit, accounting and related advisory services to large US public clients in the insurance and reinsurance industry. Brendan has over four years of experience in the life/annuity insurance industry. Prior to that, he completed his Chartered Accountant mentorship working for BDO Spencer Steward (South Africa) in the Pretoria office. He received his Bachelor of Commerce - Honors in Accounting Sciences as well Certificate Theory in Accounting from the University of Pretoria. Mr. Kemp is a member of both the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants and Institute of Chartered Accountants in Bermuda.
